TULSA, Oklahoma — Police in Tulsa say a woman has been found dead inside a car that was stopped on a city street on the city's east side.

Police say the body of 33-year-old Juanita Engarcia Ibarra was found shot to death Friday in the car by officers responding to reports of a woman injured in a car.

Police say Ibarra was not the owner of the car — but knew the owner. Officers say the owner has been questioned, but no arrests have been made. Police say it appears Ibarra was shot from outside the driver side door.
