DENVER — Denver has broken the record for its snowiest February.
The National Weather Service says Thursday's snowfall pushed the monthly accumulation to a tenth of an inch over the old record of 22.1 inches set in 1912. There's still a chance of more snowfall Friday and Saturday before March — the city's snowiest month — begins.
Boulder has also set a record for its snowiest February, with over 50 inches of snowfall. That smashed the previous record of 32.1 inches set in 2012.
