Law enforcement investigators in northwest Iowa say man dies in apparent fall from train


SIBLEY, Iowa — Investigators in the northwest corner of Iowa say a man has died in an apparent fall from a train.

Sioux City television station KTIV reports (http://bit.ly/1CBNTQm ) that the Osceola County Sheriff's Office received a call Monday about suspicious items on the railroad tracks. Responding deputies discovered a man had been run over by a train outside Sibley and believe he was run over after falling from it.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not yet been released.

The Oceola Sheriff's Office, Iowa Division of Criminal Investigations and officials with Union Pacific Railroad are investigating. are all looking into the incident
