Lydia Ko tries to start 2016 with a victory, tied for lead going into last round in Ocala

OCALA, Florida — Lydia Ko shot a 5-under 67 on Saturday morning to share the lead with Ha Na Jang going into the afternoon final round at the Coates Golf Championship.

Ko and Jang had to return to play 12 holes to finish the third round of the rain-delayed event. Both made birdie on the par-5 18th and were at 11-under 205 at Golden Ocala. Jang had a 68.

They were two shots ahead of Brooke Henderson of Canada, whose eagle on the final hole gave her a 67.

Jang fell out of the lead when she made bogey on the par-5 12th and Ko made a birdie. Jang caught up again with a birdie on the par-3 15th.

Top-ranked Ko is making her 2016 debut.
