COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa — A former Council Bluffs doctor sentenced to prison for possession of child pornography has agreed to a plea deal in a separate case.

Sixty-nine-year-old Dennis Jones was sentenced Tuesday to 10 years in prison for lascivious acts with a child. He will serve it concurrently with a 10-year federal prison sentence for possession of child pornography.

Authorities say they found about 1.2 million images and 9,300 videos of child pornography during a search of Jones' home. Court documents say other images and videos showed patients at Jones' medical clinic that were taken secretly with a pen camera.

In the case Tuesday, Jones was accused of sexually assaulting a girl outside his pediatrics practice.
