Police seeking suspect in sexual assault, beating of woman in SE Washington

WASHINGTON — Police are asking for the public's help in finding a man who sexually assaulted and beat a woman in southeast Washington.

The Metropolitan Police Department says an adult woman was assaulted Friday just before midnight in apartment in the 3300 block of 13th Street SE.

Police say they are looking for a black male with brown eyes and a skinny build. They say he was wearing dark blue jeans and his hair in dreadlocks. Police say he was approximately 25 years old. Anyone with information is asked to call: 202-727-9099.
