Sheriff's office: Port Hadlock, Wash., man drowns in Jefferson County lake

PORT HADLOCK, Washington — The Jefferson County sheriff's office says a 19-year-old Port Hadlock, Washington, man has drowned in Sandy Shore Lake.

KCPQ-TV reports the sheriff's office identified the man Monday as Max Swenson. He drowned Sunday night.

Witnesses say the man had been swimming, then yelled for help before going under.

Divers located his body.
