BENTON HARBOR, Michigan — Jay Leno has taken his stand-up routine to southwestern Michigan.
The Herald-Palladium (http://bit.ly/1cAeKAc ) reports Leno appeared in Benton Harbor on Wednesday at a gathering of the Economic Club of Southwestern Michigan as part of a speaker series.
Leno's hour-long appearance in front of the standing-room-only crowd resembled his monologues on "The Tonight Show," from which he retired as host last year. His jokes included takes on aging and underwear with words printed on them.
Leno also talked about competitive eating as a sport, joking that somehow Americans still "can't quite accept soccer."
