DETROIT — Authorities say the bodies of a man and woman have been found in a car in Detroit.

The Detroit News, Detroit Free Press and WXYZ-TV report the unidentified people were discovered Saturday in the backseat of a car parked on the southwest side near the Marathon Oil refinery.

Police spokeswoman Sgt. Cassandra Lewis told The News on Sunday that the pair appeared to die of drug overdoses. She adds the medical examiner has ruled out foul play.

This story has been corrected to show that the bodies found were those of a man and woman, based on updated information from police.
