BISMARCK, North Dakota — Four projects are getting a total of more than $495,000 in funding this quarter from the North Dakota Agricultural Products Utilization Commission.

The group funds developers of North Dakota farm products. It's a program of the state Commerce Department.

BisMan Community Food Cooperative is among the grant recipients this quarter. The Bismarck cooperative is getting more than $52,000 to open a grocery store in early 2016.

The cooperative says the funding will be used to establish and build new vendor agreements with small to mid-sized farmers.
