JERSEY CITY, New Jersey — Three men are charged in a deadly Jersey City shooting in which the man accused of killing a rookie police officer was wanted.
Authorities have charged 23-year-old Daniel Wilson, 22-year-old Rashid Bronk and 27-year-old Rafael Torres with felony murder and carjacking.
Twenty-six-year-old Michael Siegel was shot while sitting in his car in Jersey City early on July 10.
Authorities had said Wilson was being sought along with Lawrence Campbell. Wilson was arrested and charged with firearms and drug offenses on Sunday after Campbell fatally shot rookie Patrolman Melvin Santiago in what authorities said was an ambush outside a pharmacy. Police officers shot and killed Campbell.
