Help with food

Food pantries across the county will give people food and sometimes clothing, with little more needed than identification or a form that includes some information about you.

Many agencies do not require people to show they are struggling financially.

"If you've come in, you're asking for it, then we want to help you out," said Thom Hord, who leads The Refuge, a food pantry and service organization in Greenwood.
