Johnson County, home of rapidly growing Franklin, Greenwood and Whiteland, continues to be one of the fastest growing counties in Indiana.
Johnson County has added over 45,200 people since the 1990 Census -- a 51.3% increase in population.
In fact, three communities - Greenwood, Whiteland and Franklin - have had their populations grow by more than 25% since the 1990 Census. During that same period, the state of Indiana grew by 9.7 percent.
