Timothy J. Thrasher, 48, died Sunday, June 17, 2012, at his residence in Whiteland.
Survivors include two children, Desirae Eve Scruggs of Indianapolis and Timothy J. Thrasher Jr. of Whiteland; his wife, Julie (Scruggs) Thrasher of Whiteland; his mother, Carolyn J. (Sands) Duncan of Whiteland; two siblings, Bonnie J. (Ben) Adams of Shelbyville and James (Charlene) Thrasher of Pembroke, Ga.; and one grandson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Murl W. Thrasher; and grandparents, Elnora Sands, Edna Utterback and Marshall Thrasher.
The Rev. Todd Poynter will conduct a service at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 S. Morton St. (U.S. 31 South) in Franklin. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary. Burial with military honors will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
