Elizabeth A. (Hoskins) Conway
Elizabeth A. (Hoskins) Conway, 71, passed away Sunday morning, May 20, 2012, at her home in Trafalgar. By her side was her loving and devoted husband of 56 years, Kenneth G. “Kenny” Conway, whom she married Feb. 21, 1956, in Springfield, Tenn.
She was born Sept. 21, 1940, in Macon, Tenn., to the late George W. and Etta Ethel (Hauskins) Hoskins.
Elizabeth was the loving mother to Barbara (Dale) Burton of Lakeland, Fla., Carol (Scott) Willard and Paula (Jim) Baker, both of Nineveh, Chris (Rosemary) Conway of Trafalgar, Ronny (Melinda) Conway of Whiteland and Johnny Conway of Franklin.
She will be remembered by her sister, Annette Rumble of Dixon Springs, Tenn.; a niece, Lisa Williams of Goodlettsville, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Conway; and two brothers, John Wesley Hoskins and George Hoskins Jr.
She was a homemaker and past member of Fair Haven Christian Church in Franklin.
Elizabeth enjoyed working in her garden and reading her Bible, and loved listening to country and bluegrass music. She was known for her cooking and canning and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
The Rev. Stanley Icenogle will conduct a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home, Cremation and Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St. in Morgantown. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Elizabeth will be laid to rest at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.
