Victor Lee Pennell, 50, died Wednesday Jan. 5, 2011, in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Camby.
Vic was born Feb. 20, 1960, in Lansing, Mich., to John “Jack” and Jacqulyn (Whitford) Pennell.
He attended Eastern High School in Lansing. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He loved fixing and working on cars and riding his motorcycle.
He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Lenny L. (Higginbotham) Pennell of Camby; his mother, Jacqulyn Pennell of Dimondale, Mich.; three children, Victor A.(Rachel) Pennell, Joy Lynn Brown “Daddy’s Little Girl” and Jacqlyn (Chris) Meuser all of Springport, Mich.; a stepdaughter, Amy Montgomery of Camby; a sister, Julie Pennell of Michigan; two brothers, John (Darlene) Pennell of Kentucky and Allen (Laurie) Pennell of Michigan; eight grandchildren and granddaughter, “Papaw’s girl” Madison Burgett; an aunt and uncle, Bev and Jerry Pennell of Michigan; and several other aunt and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father, John “Jack” Pennell.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel, 729 U.S. 31 North.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Victor Lee Pennell fund in care of the funeral home.
