Edith A. Julbert

Edith A. (Wolf) Julbert, 69, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014, in Greenwood. She was a resident of Indianapolis.

Edith was born Aug. 25, 1944, in Indianapolis to Dr. H.D. and Arabelle (Baker) Wolf. She received a bachelor’s degree from Ripon College in Wisconsin.

Edith married Del Julbert in her parents’ home on Aug. 30, 1969.

She was a teacher’s aide for 10 years with Perry Township schools until 1997.

She enjoyed teaching her boys how to cook, doing counted cross-stitch, collecting lighthouses and sewing. She also enjoyed long car rides, sightseeing and visiting lighthouses. She loved listening to and watching videos of the Gaithers’ gospel music.

She looked forward to spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed.

Edith is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Del Julbert of Indianapolis; four sons, Christopher (Carol) Julbert of Whiteland, Jonathan (Tina) Julbert of Franklin, Kevin (Cindy) Julbert of New Whiteland and Brian Julbert of Indianapolis; brother, Dr. John (Carol) Wolf of Ohio; sister, Martha Wolf; sister-in-law, Mary (Max) McCullough; five grandchildren, Dylan, Courtney, Brooke, Cameron and Kaitlyn Julbert; one great-grandchild on the way; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, David Wolf.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel, 729 U.S. 31 North. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Glenns Valley, Greenwood.
