Lonnie Ward Ross Brantley
Lonnie Ward Ross Brantley, 57, passed away Friday Aug. 1, 2014, in Trafalgar. He was a resident of Trafalgar.
Lonnie was born June 11, 1957, in Franklin to Doyel D. and Hildagard (Wein) Brantley.
Lonnie married Karen Rose June 2, 1990; they were married for 24 years.
He was employed as a truck driver for USF Holland for 20 years.
Lonnie enjoyed playing poker, fishing, and riding four-wheelers and his motorcycle.
He loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Brantley of Trafalgar; three children, Amy (Brian) Mink of Trafalgar, Lonnie (Ashley Sewell) Brantley of Martinsville and Jason Kidd of Tennessee; two sisters, Linda (Tony) Hedge of Lebanon and Sharon (Don) Malone of Whiteland; two brothers, Charlie (Cindy) Brantley of Florida and Mikel (Kristin) Brantley of Illinois; and six grandchildren, Jason and Jaylee Richards, Brayden, Alyssa, and Katlynn Mink, and Brandon Kidd.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Doyel and Hildagard Brantley.
A funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel, 729 U.S. 31 North, with visitation from 4 p.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
