Roger W. Findley
Mr. Roger W. Findley, 77, of Lebanon, passed away Monday, July 7, 2014, at Signature Healthcare at Parkwood.
Roger was born Feb. 10, 1937, in Johnson County, a son of the late Wendell and Doris (Richardson) Findley.
He married Lynda Webb in 1966. She survives.
Roger graduated from Franklin Community High School.
He had worked for Roy Umbarger & Sons Grain Elevator.
Roger enjoyed sports, especially boxing and NASCAR.
Survivors include his wife; and children, Kevin (Susan) Findley of Logansport, Kelli (Don) Johnson of Lebanon and Kirk Findley of Tennessee; grandchildren, Gabrielle Findley of Tennessee, John Findley of Logansport, Randi Yerke of West Lafayette, Tori (Zach) Herbert, Saydi Yerke, Que Yerke, Sky-Blu Doris Yerke, Jaqlyn Johnson and Brent Johnson, all of Lebanon, Krystal Danielle Findley and McKinley Richard Findley, both of Martinsville, and Deanna Findley of Kokomo; great-grandchildren, Hayden Findley of Martinsville, Azalea Findley of Kokomo, and one on the way; siblings, Wilma Jean Fleener Harmon of Nashville, Norman (Martha Ann) Findley of Franklin, Dewey (Kay) Findley of Franklin and Rosie (Mike) Mossberg of Bargersville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, William (Martha) Findley and Orel Keith Findley.
Family and friends will gather from 10 a.m. until time of services at noon Friday, with The Rev. Matt Skiles of Lebanon Rock Church officiating at the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Roger will be laid to rest at Center Cemetery in Lebanon.
