H. Malcolm Falconbury
 

H. Malcolm Falconbury, 89, of Greenwood, passed away from this life into eternity on Tuesday, June 17, 2014.

The son of Hervie M. and Lydia B. (Foley) Falconbury, Malcolm was born Jan. 15, 1925, in Sullivan. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Greenwood Christian Church since 1964. He served on the Greenwood City Council from 1960 to 1962, was vice president of the Greenwood Little League and Development Group at Craig Park and played guitar for the Indiana Ramblers.

Malcolm is survived by his wife, Ruth E. Green Falconbury; children, Marla K. (Mark R.) McFarland, and Larry M. (M. Elaine) and Gary S. (Margaret L.) Falconbury, all of Greenwood; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson and two great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. The Rev. Shan Rutherford will conduct the service. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the donor’s favorite charity.
