Thena Mae Dove Beasley

Thena Mae Dove Beasley, 80, of Greenwood, formerly of Camby, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014, in Bonita Springs, Florida.

She was born July 22, 1933, in New Market (Montgomery County) to the late Cecil and Naomi (Newell) Dove. She retired in 1991 from Sears Service Center.

Survivors include three sons, Dr. C.W. “Dusty” Rhoads of Bonita Springs, Florida, Rocky (Alice) Rhoads of Estero, Florida, and Richard (Carole) Beasley of Greenwood; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia Busenbark of Crawfordsville and Glenda Kay DeBusk of New Market; one brother, Leslie Dove of Ladoga; dear cousin, Rita (Raymond) Lieske of Danville; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Robert Beasley, in 2011.

The funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens at Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135 and Olive Branch Road. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at West Newton Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital, in care of the funeral home.
