Pearl Jennie Davis, 87, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at her residence at Morning Pointe of Franklin. She was a resident of Franklin.
She was born July 10, 1926, in Buckner, Illinois, to Charles and Alvinia Freeman.
She married Robert Davis on July 14, 1946. He preceded her in passing.
Pearl is survived by one daughter, Roberta Eck of Fairland; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Chris) Campbell of Franklin, Alisha (Craig) Jackson of Colorado and Christopher (Lisa) Eck of Boggstown; and 11 great-grandchildren, Casey, Stephen, Emi Lou, Abigail, Molly, Ellie, Alli, Cole, Andi, Cade and Cash.
She was preceded in passing by her parents; her husband; a son, Jon Davis; a son-in-law, Stephen Eck; three brothers; and two sisters.
She was a homemaker and a longtime member of Shiloh Community Church.
The Rev. Sandy Martin will conduct a service at 7 p.m. Monday at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 6 p.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home. A private family graveside service will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Pearl’s husband, Robert, to the American Lung Association, 55 W. Wacker Drive, Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601.
