Earline Schumacher

Earline (Vance) Schumacher, 84, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014, in Franklin. She was a resident of Franklin.

She was born Dec. 8, 1929, in Paoli.

She married Frank V. Schumacher July 29, 1952, in Walled Lake, Michigan. He preceded her in death in 1994.

She was a self-employed licensed real estate agent for 39 years, retiring in 2011.

Along with her husband, they owned and operated Schumacher Printing for many years.

She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Franklin, and Greenwood Chapter No. 390 of Order of the Eastern Star.

She loved her animals and was a volunteer at the Humane Society of Johnson County.

Survivors include four children, Phillip R. (Susan) Schumacher of Indianapolis, Frank V. (Marsha) Schumacher of Franklin, Cheryl S. Jackson of Indianapolis and Eric A. (Paula) Schumacher of Twin Lakes, Wisconsin; and seven grandchildren, Emily Shutta, Ward Schumacher, Frank Schumacher III, Sarah Christ-iansen, Alexander Jackson, Amanda Schumacher and Angela Schumacher.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents, Earl Vance and Opal (Clements) Vance Holaday; and a sister, Norma Lee Rotsko.

Private family services will be conducted.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Johnson County, 3827 Graham Road, Franklin, IN 46131.

Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel, is handling arrangements.
