John William Love Jr.
Dr. John William Love Jr., 79, of New Whiteland, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2014.
He was born June 8, 1934, in New Philadelphia, Ohio, to the late John William Love Sr. and Dortha (Pugh) Love.
He graduated from Butler University in 1956 with a bachelor’s degree and then went to Indiana University School of Medicine, graduating in 1960, finishing with psychiatry in December 1967.
He was a longtime resident of Madison.
Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Patricia; children, Jane Love, Kathy (Larry) Spann and John Philip (Clare); three grandchildren, Holly Ann, Abbie and Benjamin Brian Love; and a sister, Cinda (Lloyd) Harner.
The memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home, 1605 S. State Road 135. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until service time Saturday the funeral home.
