Norma Dell Hillenburg
Norma Dell Hillenburg, 86, of Greenwood, passed away Friday, May 30, 2014.
The daughter of John and Helen Crouch
Norman, Norma was born Jan. 20, 1928, in Heltonville.
A homemaker, she was a member of Gospel Assembly Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher, sang in the choir and was active in church activities.
Norma enjoyed gardening, playing bingo and working crossword and word-search puzzles.
She is survived by a son, Dan (Debbie) Hillenburg of Franklin; a daughter, Brenda (Sonny Jr.) Carter of Cypress, Texas; brothers, Clarence and Gerald Norman; sisters, Shirley Hearth and Judy Quebbeman; grandsons, Troy Hutcheson and John Hillenburg; and great-grandchildren, Monique and Taylor Hutcheson and Madeleine Hillenburg.
In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd J. Hillenburg, whom she married on Nov. 25, 1945; a daughter, Marshalena; brothers, Wesley, Wayne and Edward Norman; and sisters, Margie Todd and Glenda Sowder.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, in care of the funeral home.
