Paul S. Summers

Paul S. Summers, 46, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014, in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Greenwood.

Paul was born Aug. 13, 1967, in Salt Lake City.

He enjoyed fishing and shooting guns and spending time with friends and family. He will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his mother, Wanda E. (Coy) Summers of Indianapolis; 10 siblings, Timothy Summers, Linda (David) Haines and Abe Summers, all of Greenwood, David (Carol) Summers and Janet (Robert) Kelly, both of Martinsville, Deborah (Kent) Johnson of Idaho, Karen (Guy) Blando of North Carolina, Sharon (Ralph) Arnold of Utah, Samuel (Dawn) Summers of Indianapolis and Rosie (Greg) Tracey of Illinois; 58 nieces and nephews; 40 great-nieces and great-nephews; and four great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Burel Thomas Summers; and a sister, Faith Christian Summers.

A celebration of life gathering will be from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. Sunday at the home of Paul’s sister, Janet, 6655 Teeters Lane, Martinsville.

Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel, is handling the arrangements.
