Joyce Eyvonne Mount
Joyce Eyvonne (Ferrell) Mount passed away on April 17, 2014, in Orlando, Florida, at age 67. She was a resident of Oviedo, Florida.
She was born to Clara Beatrice (Cheek) Ferrell and Charles Marion Ferrell on Oct. 22, 1946, in Franklin. Joyce was a longtime resident of Franklin, where she and her husband, Gene, lived, loved and laughed while raising five children — Stacey (Wallis) Davis, Ray Wallis, Jennifer (Wallis) Ehrlich, Marian Mount and Clay Mount.
She was employed for many years by Franklin College before moving to Oviedo, Florida, in 1994 after Gene retired. He preceded her in death in 2012.
She was a talented and avid quilter and cook, sharing her handiwork often with family and friends.
She is survived by her five children; five grandchildren; three siblings, John Thomas Ferrell, Charles Rex Ferrell and Phyllis Jean (Ferrell) Mathias; six nieces and nephews; and countless friends whom she met along the way. She was loved by all who knew her.
She was inurned in a private memorial service on May 1 at All Faiths Memorial Park in Orlando, Florida.
