Thomas I. Dew, 79, of Bradenton, Florida, died Jan. 15, 2014. He was a former resident of Franklin.
Born in Indianapolis, he moved to Bradenton in 1994 from Franklin. A veteran of the United States Air Force during the Korean War, he was a graduate of Arsenal Tech High School in Indianapolis.
He attended Purdue University and was a manager for R.O. Barber Trucking Co.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Mildred of Bradenton, Florida; son, Jack Fogleman of Atlanta, Georgia; daughters, Cheryl (Ken) Carpenter, Lynne Edwards, Cathy Cambridge, all of Indianapolis, Teresa Weems of Portland, Oregon and Kim Scalf of Franklin; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. today at Vineyard Community Church, 512 S. Madison Ave., Greenwood.
