Gwendolyn Anita (Heady) Meurer, 89, died Monday, May 12, 2014, at the Franklin United Methodist Community in Franklin. She was a former resident or Terre Haute, Jasper, Vincennes, Lafayette and Indianapolis.
Survivors include two daughters, Susan Jaggers of Valparaiso and Mary Ledbetter of Vincennes; a sister, Janett Boling of Patriot; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in passing by her husband, Hal A. Meurer; and a brother, Derald Heady.
The Rev. David Owens will conduct a service at 10 a.m. Friday at the Franklin United Methodist Community Wright Chapel, 1070 W. Jefferson St. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin, and from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the chapel. A committal service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Riley.
