Victoria “Vicki” Bay-Abbott-Hood, 57, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at Franklin Meadows in Franklin. She was a resident of Edinburgh.
Vicki was born March 20, 1957, in Indianapolis to Gerald and Mary Inez (Burdine) Insko.
She was employed as an inspector at I.F.S. in Franklin for one year.
Vicki lived most of her life in Whiteland and Franklin. She attended Whiteland Community Schools.
She loved fishing, beading, and making necklaces, bracelets and tie blankets for family and friends to pass the time.
She was a member of New Whiteland Baptist Church.
Survivors include her parents; two children, Seth (Jessie) Bay of Indianapolis and Rhonda (Aaron) Trueblood of Franklin; a sister, Mary Ellen Clark of Needham; two brothers, Jerry Insko and Dylan Insko, both of New Whiteland; and three grandchildren, Seth and Teddy Bay and Barbara Trueblood.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Hood, in 2013.
George Worley will conduct a funeral service at 7 p.m. Thursday at Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel, 729 U.S. 31 North. Visitation for friends and family will be from 4 p.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Youngs Creek Cemetery near Franklin.
