Eva R. Schrum
Eva R. Schrum, 69, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Monday, Nov. 4, 2013.
She was born Feb. 16, 1944, in Liberty, Ky., and moved to Port Charlotte in December 2012 from Millersville, Md.
Eva was a retired director for Foundation Coal in Linthicum, Md. She graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree.
Eva loved crafts, gardening, reading, cooking and baking.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Martin; two sisters, Faye Hammer and Lena Burns, both of Indiana; two brothers, Raymond (Sabrena) Scott of Indiana and Herman (Carol) Scott of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
Eva was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Marie Casmire Schrum; and three brothers, Gervis “Bob” Scott, James Scott and Harvey Scott.
A memorial celebration of Eva’s life will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, April 27, at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Calling will be from 1 p.m. until time of celebration at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Shoals on Monday.
