Donald B. Hohlt, 79, of Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2014.
He was born Oct. 28, 1934, in Whiteland.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Doris (Voris) Hohlt; son, Richey Peavler; and sister, Betty J. Wilson.
He is survived by his former spouse, Joan Hohlt; son, Brian Peavler (Becca); grandsons, Richey and Riley Peavler; brothers, Robert Hohlt (Nancy), William Hohlt (Victoria); sister, Jone Binford (James); nephews, Bruce and Thomas Austin Hohlt, William G. Hohlt II (Julie), children, William G. Hohlt III and Kindle Hohlt, Jaret and Jameson Binford; and nieces, Anastacia (Stacy) Tracy, children, Brennan, Bailee and Brayten Tracy, and Jennifer Binford.
After graduating from Whiteland High School, Don joined the U.S. Army and served in Alaska.
Don owned and operated the Whiteland Barn and Go Cart Track and Don’s Upholstery.
At Don’s request there will be no service.
