Diana Jo Sturm
Diana Jo (Anderson) Sturm, 66, of Spencerville, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Mitchell on March 27, 1947, to Ferrell and Jean Anderson, Diana grew up in Greenwood and moved to the Fort Wayne area after marriage.
She was Greenwood Centennial queen and winner of the Junior Miss contest.
She graduated from Indiana University and taught physical education for Indianapolis Public Schools No. 13 and No. 69. She worked in home health care for many years and was past president of the Isacc Knapp Dental Auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Dr. Michel R. Sturm; daughters, Kelly (Dennis) Summers, Abbey (Clint) Knoblauch and Cassie (Matt) Kortenber; sons, Andrew (Missy) Sturm and Chas (Liz Hill) Sturm; mother, Jean Anderson; sisters, Karen (Doug) Lawrie and Cheri Anderson; and 10 grandchildren.
Diana was preceded in death by her father, Ferrell Anderson; an infant brother; and an infant daughter.
