Thomas “TC” E. Coram of Martinsville, peacefully passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014, in his home.
He was born Aug. 31, 1943, in Indianapolis to the late Fred D. Coram and Beatrice Louise (Archer) Coram.
Tom married Cynthia “Cindy Faye” (Loncar) Coram May 13, 1989.
Tom was a member of Capitol City Masonic Lodge No. 312 and Greenwood Masonic Lodge No. 514, member of the Murat Shrine and was a previous member of the White River Jaycees.
Tom previously owned Briggs Distributing Co. with his brother Fred. He was employed in outside sales for more than 50 years.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy; daughter, Shelby F. Navarrette and husband Ed; grandchildren, Shaylee Faye and Edward Ryan; his sister, Phyllis (Coram) Macy; and sisters-in-law, Nancy Coram and Stacia “Stacy” Zloty and husband Robert. He also has numerous loving nieces and nephews.
He is also preceded in death by his brother, Fred Coram.
A Masonic Service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Indiana Masonic Home in the Kresge Chapel, 690 State St., Franklin. Fellowship will begin at noon at the chapel. A celebration of life will be conducted after the service at the Greenwood VFW Post No. 5864. Please feel free to dress in your favorite sports team apparel in memory of Tom and his love of the Indianapolis Colts, Pacers and IU Hoosiers.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Indiana Masonic Home, The American Cancer Society, or the VFW Greenwood Post No. 5864, in care of the funeral home.
