Myrtle Grace Misiniec
Myrtle Grace Misiniec, age 95, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2014, in Franklin. She was a resident of Franklin.
She was born on Nov. 18, 1918, in Pulaski County, Ky., to George and Lesta (Nelson) Blankenship.
She married Andy J. Misiniec on Nov. 25, 1944. He preceded her in passing in 1994.
Grace is survived by four children, Judy Misiniec, John Misiniec, Joe Bill Misiniec and Janet Misiniec; daughter-in-law, Susie Misiniec; four grandchildren, Jason (Heather) Misiniec; Jennifer (Thad) Westerfeld; Jessica Kinslow and Jill (Aaron) Down; great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Brett Kinslow; Emma and Hayden Westerfeld; Jacob and Alexis Misiniec and Korbin and Kaizer Down.
Also surviving is one brother, Bill Blankenship and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in passing by her parents; husband, Andy; brothers, Roy, Raymond “Pete” and Victor and sister, Mary Mann Coulson.
Also preceding in passing was one son, Jim Misiniec.
Grace was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church where she was in the St. Rose Altar Society. In her early years, she was a Brownie Scout leader. She enjoyed quilting and cooking.
John Beitens will conduct a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 114 Lancelot Drive, Franklin. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton St., (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin.
Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Greenwood.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 114 Lancelot Drive, Franklin, IN 46131.
