Raymond Charles Bohall
Raymond Charles Bohall, 85, of Beech Grove, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014.
Raymond was born July 7, 1928, to the late Raymond W. and Thelma Berkhotz Bohall in Indianapolis. He married Barbara Hennis on Dec. 16, 1972.
During his working years he was employed as a painter and maintenance worker at Amtrak in Beech Grove.
Raymond enjoyed bowling and watching the Pacers play.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara J. Bohall; three sons, Steven (Lena) Bohall of Morgantown, Donald (Janet) Bohall of Beech Grove and David (Debbie) Bohall of Clermont; two daughters, Carole Cook of Beech Grove and Vickie (Chuck) Ford of Greenwood; a brother, Willis Bohall; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
We will cherish his memory and sorely miss him.
The Bohall family wishes to thank Franciscan St. Francis Health and the Hospice Visiting Nurses for their excellent care of Raymond. Also, thank-you to Terry at the Waters of Indianapolis for your assistance and caring for the last seven months.
Service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 7602 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the mortuary. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
