Karen Lynn (Komlance) Stevens, 49, of Martinsville, died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014.
Karen was born April 12, 1964, in Beech Grove to William Anthony and Rita Ann (Cherry) Komlance. She graduated from Center Grove High School.
She worked as a reach lift operator for Wurth Service Supply Co. She was a member of K.S.K.J., a Slovenian fraternal organization, and was an avid Colts fan.
Karen was preceded in death by her mother, Rita Komlance; and a sister, Rebecca McDonald.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Lee “Bobby” Stevens, whom she married on June 15, 1985, in Greenwood; their daughter, Shayna Elizabeth Stevens; her father, William Komlance; and five siblings, Rita (Rick) Wells, William (Mary) Komlance, Christina (Noel) Tow, Kevin Komlance and Theresa (Dean) Jackley.
Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Flanner and Buchanan-Decatur, 5463 Kentucky Ave., Indianapolis, where a rosary service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. today. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at SS. Francis and Clare Catholic Church, 5901 Olive Branch Road, Greenwood. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greenwood.
