Janice Marie Glenn Pote
Janice Marie (Ferstle) Glenn Pote, 79, of Greenwood, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010.
Janice was born in Wayne, Mich., on Nov. 29, 1930, to Charles and Ruby (Boyce) Ferstle. She worked for the Defense Finance and Accounting Service in the Department of Congressional Inquiry for many years, retiring in 1995.
Janice was a member of Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Rick Glenn; a sister; and a brother.
Janice is survived by her husband, Robert Pote; two sons, Michael Glenn (Nancy) and Robert Glenn (Trena); two stepchildren, Robert J. Pote (Christy) and Mariangela Pote; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church, 335 S. Meridian St. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East St. (U.S. 31 South) in Indianapolis, where a wake service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Morning prayers will be said at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Indianapolis.
