Daniel L. Emberton
Daniel L. Emberton, 53, of Franklin, passed away Monday, Feb. 3, 2014.
He was born Oct. 16, 1960, in Nashville, Ind., to James and Virginia (Tankersley) Emberton.
Daniel was a member of the Nazarene faith.
He was an over-the-road semitrailer-truck driver for Horizon Freight Lines and was a professional musician and singer.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela Emberton of Franklin; daughters, Shauna (Richard Day) Emberton of Evansville and Danielle Emberton of Columbus; a brother, Patrick Emberton; five sisters, Shirley Mullikin, Linda Dilley, Colleen (Daniel) Lehr, Joyce (Ridgley) Chittum and Gayla Haley; four stepchildren, Joseph (Amy), Candice (Kevin Smith), Jennifer and Michael Branham; and two grandchildren, Cheyenne and Scarlett Branham.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Emberton; and his first wife, Reashelle Emberton.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at First Church of the Nazarene, 140 Branigin Road, Franklin. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
Memorial contributions have been suggested to the American Diabetes Association, 6919 E. 10th St., Indianapolis, IN 46203.
