Marilyn Ann Workman, 68, died Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, at her son’s residence in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Edinburgh.
She was born Dec. 1, 1945, in Franklin to the late Merrill and Edna Mae (Palmer) Morris.
She married Max Allen Workman, and he survives.
She also is survived by her children, Morris (Jill) Houchin of Indianapolis, Jeff (Michelle) Houchin of Colorado Springs, Colo., Melissa A. (Max) Placke of Granger and Rebecca D. Workman (Michael) Norton of Edinburgh; siblings, Karen Rowe of Greenwood and Jan (Ed) Masek of Homossassa, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker.
She was an amazing woman who touched many lives. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, walking in the sunshine, collecting teddy bears and watching Colts football.
According to Marilyn’s wishes, cremation is planned.
