Merle Leroy ‘Roy’ Bolenbaugh
 

Mr. Merle Leroy “Roy” Bolenbaugh, 93, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, Jan. 20, 2014.

He was born Jan. 26, 1920, in Van Wert, Ohio, a son of Andrew and Laura Bolenbaugh.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita; and six brothers and sisters.

Survivors include a son, Larry Vehnehamp of Tucson, Ariz.; a brother, William; three sisters, Anita, Pearl and Arlene; two grandchildren, Pete and Dianna; and many nieces and nephews.

Roy was a life member of the NRA and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He retired from Westvaco as a printer.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from noon until service time Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association, in care of the funeral home.
