Ronald Eugene Hyatt

Ronald Eugene Hyatt, 73, of Indianapolis, went to his heavenly home on Jan. 1, 2014.

He was born Aug. 3, 1940, in Indianapolis, a son of Russell J. and Ica (Spencer) Hyatt. They preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Hyatt.

Survivors include his loving wife Cynthia; a son, Randall Hyatt; two daughters, Nancy Lasiter and Christine Cahill; a sister, Darlene Schwieterman; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Ron graduated from Emmerich Manual High School in 1959.

He worked at Diamond Chain for many years and retired in 2000 from Utility Peterbilt in the sales department. He was a member of Life Tabernacle.

Ron enjoyed spending time with his family and especially loved his Corvette.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be at Acton Cemetery.
