Ronald E. Hyatt, 73, of Indianapolis, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014.
He was born Aug. 3, 1940, in Indianapolis a son of Russell J. and Ica (Spencer) Hyatt. They preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Hyatt.
Survivors include his loving wife, Cynthia; a son, Randall Hyatt; two daughters, Nancy Lasiter and Christine Cahill; a sister, Darlene Schwieterman; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Ron graduated from Emmerich Manual High School in 1959. He worked at Diamond Chain for many years and retired in 2000 from Utility Peterbilt in the sales department. He was a member of Life Tabernacle.
Ron enjoyed spending time with his family and especially loved his Corvette.
A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Acton Cemetery.
