Charles “Russ” Warner, 82, of Franklin, died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013.
On Aug. 1, 1931, Russ was born to Oliver and Ruth Brown Warner in Pittsburgh. Both of his parents preceded him in death.
Russ worked as a self-employed remodeling contractor.
Survivors include his wife, Judy A. Warner, whom he married May 26, 1967; two children, Tana Hart (Maurice) and Jerilyn Austin, both of Redwood Hills, Calif.; five stepchildren, Robert Warner (Donna) of St. Petersburg, Fla., Deborah Castle of Baton Rouge, La., Michael Lehmkuhl of Anderson, Audrey Thompson of Allen, Texas, and Blake Lehmkuhl (Mary) of Indianapolis; a brother, William Warner; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a nephew.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Russ will be laid to rest at Bethel Cemetery in Indianapolis.
