Richard L. ‘Dick’ Clark

passed away Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. He was a resident of Nineveh.

He was born Sept. 4, 1941, in Columbus, to Merrill and Doris (Park) Clark. He married Linda Lou (Peters) Clark on March 14, 1959. She survives in Nineveh.

Other survivors include three sons, Richard L. Clark Jr. of Franklin, Kevin (Robin) Clark of Phoenix and Scott Clark of Nineveh; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Robert “Bob” Clark of Greenwood. Also surviving are a special nephew, Rex Snyder of Morgantown, and a loving niece, Lori Tuft of Arizona.

He was preceded in passing by his parents.

Dick was a 1959 graduate of Nineveh High School.

He was employed by Navistar in Indianapolis as a machinist for 32 years, retiring in 2003.

An avid fisherman, Dick enjoyed attending the Liars Club at the Franklin American Legion Post in Franklin.

He attended Nineveh Christian Church.

Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Nineveh Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to any local charity of the donor’s choice.
