Beulah Mae Fulmer
Beulah Mae Fulmer, 94, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, in Greenwood. She was a resident of Greenwood and formerly a longtime resident of Franklin.
She was born Aug. 26, 1919, in Franklin to James and Engle (Hughey) Perry. She married Dean Fulmer in Franklin on Aug. 29, 1941. He preceded her in passing on Sept. 7, 1977.
Survivors include a daughter, Vicki (Don) McComb of Greenwood; a grandson, Michael (Jenni) McComb of Greenwood; and two great-grandsons, Ethan and Maxwell McComb of Greenwood.
She was preceded in passing by her parents; her husband, Dean; and a half sister, Irene Winchester.
Beulah was a 1938 graduate of Alva Neal High School in Franklin.
She was a homemaker.
Beulah was a member of Tabernacle Christian Church since 1934. She was a Sunday school teacher and a deaconess for many years and was an active member of the Christian Women’s Fellowship. She was a former longtime member of Franklin Chapter No. 439, Order of the Eastern Star. She also was a longtime member of the Hillview Country Club.
She truly enjoyed attending her grandson and great-grandsons’ sporting activities. Beulah was an avid fan of Butler basketball.
The Rev. Shan Rutherford will conduct a service at 2 p.m. Friday at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from noon until time of service Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
