Nell Blanche (Warren) Spindler, 90, passed away Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, in Franklin. She was a resident of Franklin.
Blanche was born Oct. 26, 1923, in Hillsboro, Tenn., to the late Aubrey and Hazel (Clark) Warren.
She married Clayton F. Spindler in August 1950; they were married for 62 years. He preceded her is death in May of this year.
Blanche was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Southport Church of Christ for several years.
Blanche enjoyed bowling, reading, word search puzzles, bingo, cards and playing with her grand-puppies. She was an Indianapolis Colts football fan.
She is survived by a daughter, Pamela S. (Michael) Wicke of Whiteland; and a granddaughter, Stephanie Wicke of Whiteland.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Emmett C. Warren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Jessen Funeral Home Whiteland Chapel, 729 N. U.S. 31 North. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Youngs Creek Cemetery near Franklin.
