Lena F. Anderson
Lena F. Anderson, 76, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, at Greenwood Meadows.
She was born Dec. 24, 1936, in Albany, Ky., to Frank and Emma (Dicken) Stearns.
She married Clyde E. Anderson on Feb. 11, 1956, in Nineveh; and he survives.
She was a machinist at Berg Electronics (formerly Specialty Connectors) and International Harvester, both in Franklin, for several years.
She enjoyed eating out and spending time with all of her family. She was an avid collector of dolls and Willow Tree angel and Dreamsicle figurines.
Survivors include her husband, Clyde E. Anderson of Franklin; two daughters, Debra K. (Michael) Cook of Edinburgh and Kimberly L. (Robert) Knudsen of Whiteland; four grandchildren, Sylvia Cook and Tyler Cook, both of Edinburgh, and Kara Knudsen and Kyle Knudsen, both of Whiteland; two great-grandchildren, Alexis Merchant and Brayden Cook; three brothers, Jesse (Sharon) Stearns, Howard (JoAnn) Stearns and Steve (Ruth) Stearns, all of Franklin; and four sisters, Maxine Sidwell of Albany, Ky., Colleen (Bill) Lenker of Wilton, Iowa, Phyllis Conner of Franklin and Carol Stubbs of Morgantown.
She was preceded in death by three infant brothers; and two sisters, Opal Pitcher and Wilma Dugan.
The Rev. Ronnie Bernard will conduct a service at 11 a.m. Monday at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 S. Morton St. (U.S. 31 South) in Franklin. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
