Myrna A. Engelhardt, 71, of Bluffton, Ohio, died at 2:55 p.m. Tuesday, Dec 3, 2013, at the Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
She was born March 8, 1942, in Wapakoneta, Ohio, to the late Ned K. and Mary E. Harshbarger Krapf.
On March 10, 1962, she married David Engelhardt; and he survives.
Myrna and David owned Englehardt Landscape Inc. in Bluffton. She was a member of Bluffton Presbyterian Church and Order of the Eastern Star, Rawson Chapter 550, Mount Cory. She formerly was an EMT with the Bluffton EMS.
Myrna enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, gardening, traveling and playing cards with her friends.
She was a graduate of Wapakoneta High School and attended Miami Jacobs College in Dayton, Ohio.
Myrna also is survived by a son, D.J. (Robin) Engelhardt of Whiteland; and two grandchildren, William and Megan Engelhardt.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Engelhardt; and two sisters, Cheryl Taylor and Diane Baughman.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, 239 S. Main St. in Bluffton, Ohio. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, where an Eastern Star service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or Wexner Medical Center.
