Rose Marie Riley


Rose Marie Riley, 88, of Bargersville, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013.

Rose was born Nov. 7, 1925, in Indianapolis to Alva and Glendora (Bireley) Bates. She was a graduate of Southport High School with the class of 1944.

She was an avid Pacers fan, and she enjoyed quilting and painting.

She was a longtime member of Bluff Creek Christian Church.

She married Audrid Riley on March 30, 1945; he preceded her in death in 2004.

She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Rose is survived by her sons, Daniel, Philip (Linda), William (Kay) and John (Rhonda) Riley; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-

grandchildren; and seven great-


She also was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, John Bates; a sister, Flora Pullen; and a grandson, Nathan Turpin.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home,

1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens

in Greenwood.
